The Cuba Studies Trust was established in July 2007 as a means to help fund the development of the International Institute for the Study of Cuba based at London Metropolitan University.

The Institute’s brief is to provide an in-depth and comprehensive appraisal of the Cuban ‘social experience’ as it approaches and undergoes another period of change. To this end the Institute will establish a research centre and academic unit dedicated to the objective analysis of the Cuban revolution and its relationship to the wider world.

One major part of its work is to fund scholarships for Cuban students and academics to send time in the UK and for British students to study in Cuba. For more information please contact us here.
